Master’s in English
Advanced materials science paves the way for the creation of future technologies: from quantum devices to aerospace alloys. This multi-track program trains research engineers specializing in various areas of materials science, from metals and alloys to semiconductors and dielectrics. The program combines a strong foundation in physics and chemistry with applied engineering tasks, including computer-aided design (CAD/CAM), the synthesis and study of new advanced materials, and perovskite photonics.

This program addresses the basic physical principles of electronic systems and devices of quantum electronics, as well as some essential manufacturing techniques and measurements of physical and chemical characteristics of quantum-sized structures and materials. The cross-cultural research community allows to exchange knowledge and ideas on the theory and its practical implementations taking a wider perspective.

The program produces high-demand professionals and allows graduates to work in various companies around the globe. In the modern digital world in any branch of human activity it is necessary to process data, find hidden patterns and predict the future behavior of an object based on its past state. Graduates are in demand in various industries: banking, engineering production, research laboratories, medical centers, IT-companies in the sector, and others.

In the context of globalisation and digital transformation, specialists with strong skills in intercultural communication, foreign languages and digital tools are in high demand. The program prepares professionals who connect business, culture and education across international contexts. Students learn how to design international PR campaigns, develop digital educational products, create cross-cultural tourism services and manage communication in multicultural teams.

Today, issues of quality management of mineral raw materials, as well as engineering-geological and hydrogeological support, are key to the development of the entire mining industry. Difficult mining conditions and the decline in the quality of mineral raw materials require new technological solutions for the development of mineral deposits. The program is aimed at training specialists for international mining companies.
